Kat qualified from Myerscough College with a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. She then went on to study for her veterinary nursing at the College of Animal Welfare, where she qualified in 2019. She has spent time volunteering from Manchester Dogs House and the RSCA. Kat has worked as part of a marine conservation team in Madagascar and worked in wildlife rehabilitation in South Africa and Costa Rica with exotic species. Kat is currently working towards her additional qualifications in reptile and zoo veterinary nursing. Outside of work, Kat enjoys CrossFit, socialising and spending time with her RSPCA rescue cat, Benny.
